There could be an easy fix without releasing other kind of hardware. Try to hold the controller in an up right position by placing your hand between where you would normally place your 2 hands. The analogue will be at the right place and its comfortable. Its almost a nunchuck, the only thing is that they will have to re-affect the direction of the analgue. Once in that position, left is now up, up is now right, right is now down and down is now left. Too boot, you now have a nunchuck sixaxis without having to purchase a new equipment. The d-pad, other analogue, start/select and home button is also in reach of the thumb. Try it, its only an idea, but I wouldnt mind playing like that, its comfortable. Hope you understand the position im talking about, it is hard to explain but would be very easy to show. The position is eactly like a nunchuck if you would remove the 2 handle. Like I said the analogue direction need to be reaffected since the left is now the up side. If you need more explanation about the way of holding the controller im talking of ask me.
