I'm really hyped for FFXIII.........but I'm more hyped for the superior Xenoblade :P

It's not the review score that lowered my hype for this game and I'm a huge FF fan hell I might even be a bigger one then you but they really screwed this one up, nothing compared to the masterpiceses that is FFIV-FFX ( the ones I have played atleast 5 times each)

i too am not hyped at all. however i have it preordered and am going to play it on day 1. i really expect it to bit shitty as hell for an FF game, so hopefully it surprises me and is ok.

You won't know they screwed up until you actually......you know.....played it.
I'm not really on the hype bandwagon for this (since I haven't finished a FF since VII; VIII was okay but I couldn't finish it; really didn't play IX, X my bro had then sold before I could get midway thru, XI doesn't count, XII's combat system and the princess pissed me off too much to get into it...).
But I'll be getting this since the combat system seems less like XII and more like the other ones. Plus, it does look cool.

Well then, so I take it since your definition of "fan" must mean you like everything about it then you must be crazy in love with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest!
By the way, for all of you claiming to be "real" fans. True fans are the harshest of all fans and will call out any flaw with their favorite game/team/etc. When you're favorite thing is not performing you bitch and bitch hard to the creator/owner of such thing you're a fan off. You are not a fan by claiming everything is great and perfect about what you're a fan of. Take for example team sports. When your team sucks you follow it, but you sure as hell will be bitching and moaning to the owners so they can make the team better again. Now that is a true fan!
I think I would be a lot more hyped if it was still an exclusive, but for some reason, I'm really not.
It's still going to be an amazing game though.
why would you be more hyped if less people could play it?~~

I don't think you are not a big fan of FF...but almost everyone here who is saying they're not hyped is not a fan of JRPG's in general.
