This is too weird...I'm pretty damn big fan of Final Fantasy..And just now noticed its actually coming next week. My sister, much bigger FF fan is also not getting it, because of "bad reviews"..

Well, I have way too much to play already.And my personal life us fucked up so I think these might be the reason.

I'm not hyped anymore to be honest. But I will be getting it with the bundle and wait and see if I can get some extra cash selling it on Ebay or Craigslist ;)

These days reviewers are like gods. People have forgotten to have a taste of their own.

My hype has been gone a long time for this game, sure I will buy it probably the first week it's released but I won't rush home and turn it on the first chance I get.

I still have a bad memory from FFXII

I for one am very hyped for Final Fantasy XIII and I can't wait for next week!

I'm not. It's mostly because other games I want are also coming out at the same time and it took forever for FFXIII to come out. I'm just not interested, especially since there apparently won't be any side quests, which is a very big thing for me.

the development time for this game has been far too long, and i do admit 1-2 years ago i was hyped, but that hype has slowly been running down the drain the closer we have gotten to the release date.

also a thing that is a "turn off" is the apparent lack of towns in this game.

Same here.
Big FF fan but the hype died weeks ago, which isn't automatically a bad thing.
I think it's a self protection mechanism which may help to avoid a possible disappointment.
Time will tell.

Its a JRPG, therefor I have zero hype for the game, especially this gen.
