Well, my first console was a NES, and when I thought about quitting gaming between the SNES and the N64 eras Nintendo gave me Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
When gaming begun to feel "more of the same" they gave me the DS and the Wii.
They always have something to keep me entertained (and continuing giving them money).

An escape from reality to a dream world, like the others said.

Basicly, it's my happy-drug that I try not to abuse it too often! ;)

Without Nintendo I wouldn't be gaming as I am today.

That's for me is more than enough.

Nintendo molded me into the man I am today.

Almost 20 years of childhood memories.

I liked the first Mario games, but after having played Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr and one of the first games with Luigi too, it was enough Mario for me, I was fed up and I hated Mario and Wario games my sister and a former gf of mine had on their gameboys.
But now, as soon as Wii price goes under 130-150€, Nintendo could mean my return to console world, that I left with Intellivision (I played with it for years, though, even when it was three gens old, I kept it at my mom's cottage and played with it when there, usually during Easter holidays or Autumn country food festivals, when I stopped playing with it, my sister continued for some more years), first for the ZX Spectrum and after for the PC. I won't leave PC, though.

Nintendo = Fun

i grew up on nintendo. i love them because the consistently make fun games.

For me? Nintendo is the most important influence in my life. I love the doctrines, ideals, and systems I've grown up with...

Nintendo, to me, is truly a living god...
