That's right, there's a way to get the god of war 3 demo without and downloads/price. But a sony pictures blue ray movie (I got mine with district 9) and the game demo will be there for no extra charge. BTW the marketing for this game will be ginormous, I even saw a poster for this game in the hot dog shop next to my house! discuss!

...I think the GoW slurpee last month was a dead give away that the marketing would be insane

I highly doubt it. Every time a big Ps3 exclusive comes out I think the advertising will be huge but then it falls flat. Sony usually goes for gimmicky low profile advertising like slurpee cups or other in store advertisements or low key viral marketing instead of traditional commericals and interviews on tv. The last game I saw a commerical for was MGS4 but only late on Adult Swim.

In the beggining of this gen they did good though. Every minute i saw a ad for Rachtet and Clank and Uncharted which got me to buy my Ps3 but they stopped mostly.

Edit: i forgot about the new "it does everything" commericals so hopefully they advertise it.

In uk its not being marketed well where I am

GAMe & Gamestation have FFXIII posters up

The only sign of GOW3 is in the PS3 section, its in a "pre-order" case thingy!

btw guys i didnt like the demo :P

It was a big surprise when I went to IMAX to see Avatar and there was this nice ad of Uncharted 2 just before the film. It looked beautiful on huge screen. Im sure they will spend more on on GOW3 ads.

Sony fails @ marketing big games.....
