I'm worried the story won't be very good...something I really love about just about all FF games.

Don't care much about personalities or character designs. It's a Japanese game, and they have their own style, something numerous people can't seem to appreciate.

The story seems very good besides the lack of a memorable antagonist.  Jihl Nabaat and Yaag Roash just had to have their roles in the game exaggerated by the trailers.  As long as the six players characters are memorable enough, I'm sold story wise.

there should be a "totally epic, one of the best games so far this gen but wont beat gow3" option

But its like the antithesis of FF12 which is a good thing

FF XIII's music is pretty damn good, I don't think it'll disappoint.

"pretty damn good" isn't on the "OMG AMAZING" level that every FF soundtrack is on since FF4 is at (apart from FF12 obviously)

don't get me wrong, the battle theme is amazing, the boss theme is one of the best

but apart from that I dunno if it has memorable music pieces like VI, VII or IX

we'll see in just 10 DAYS DOOD!

Don't you dare apply "OMG AMAZING" to the FF VII soundtrack, 'cuz it most definitely isn't. I thought it was the one you were talking about with the worst. FF XII was better there, Sakamoto is a very good composer, and he's even better in Odin Sphere.

But yeah, how time flies. I can't believe it's that close!

I understand. Thanks for the explanation. I was just really stuck on that editorial (I still am).

And just to stay on topic...I'm thinking that Lightning-Snow-Sahz will be the best character combination in FF13 (just like Cloud-Barret-Cid in FF7, and Squall-Zell-Irvine in FF8).
