Forums - General - Honduras Eathquake caused by Global Warming!

How long until we see this? I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Just curious...

When did Honduras have an earthquake?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

A number of months ago. Now that we have had a number of recent earthquakes (to include the most recent one in Chile), I was curious if this was going to be one of the new ridiculous claims of calamity as a result of global warming.

The one that killed a few people last May? Or do you mean Haiti?

Anyway, no-one would claim that global warming causes Earthqukes. Anyone that would is a fool. I think the most die hard global warming believers wouldn't even say that.

That's actually the point of what I was saying. It seems that everything calamitous that has happened recently has been conveniently blamed on global warming. One point was made that the heavy snowfall that was coming on the east coast of the U.S. was a result of the Great Lakes no longer freezing over due to such warming. Lake Erie just froze over from coast to coast.

Yeah, who'd have thought that he would wind up being the crazier of the two partners from Lethal Weapon?
