I love Metroid, but somehow RS2 has got me more excited.
Which Wii game are you most excited about for first half 2010?
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor | 5 | 3.03%
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon | 10 | 6.06%
Metroid: Other M | 36 | 21.82%
Monster Hunter Tri | 38 | 23.03%
Super Mario Galaxy 2 | 63 | 38.18%
Red Steel 2 | 13 | 7.88% | |
Total: | 165 |
For me it was Endless Ocean: Blue World, followed by Sam & Max 2, then Sakura Wars
Of those listed Monster Hunter is the one I'm most likely to get, at least if some of my friends do.
Might pick up Fragile as some point. I'm dubious about Red Steel 2 but if it proves to be great fun I'll grab it too - but probably after a couple price drops.
Metriod, then MH Tri.
SMG2 will be cool of course, but for some reason I'm not that excited about it. Maybe because I never got all the stars in SMG1.
Out of what's left? For me, in order...
...though we've already had some amazing 1st half games imo (Shiren the Wanderer, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, No More Heroes 2, Endless Ocean 2, Sky Crawlers, etc).
Definitely Monster Hunter 3. Can't wait to play online with you guys.
My themeforest portfolio:
Makes me a little sad that ARF's getting overlooked. Isn't it due in June?
I hope it does well, but coming in around the Galaxy2/S&P2/MOM triumvirate will probably hurt it with the Nintendo faithful, and I sort of expect the core RPG crowd to wait for Graces in (probably) the fall.
Definitely looking forward to Super Mario Galaxy 2, the first was my favorite game thus far this generation... and 2 looks to continue bringing me stellar 3D Platforming. It just doesn't get much better than this folks.
Top 5, it'd look like this:
1. Super Mario Galaxy 2
2. Red Steel 2
3. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1
4. Metroid: Other M
5. Monster Hunter Tri
And actually, speaking of opverlooked, WiiWare seems to be having a banner 1st half. Megaman 10, Cave Story, Max & the Magic Marker, Super Meat Boy, Light Trax, Rotozoa, Blaster Master Overdrive, Ghost Slayer, Muscle March, Tomena Sanner, Sonic 4, Night Sky, La-Mulana, WarioWare Showcase, Bit Trip Runner, And Yet it Moves, Full Blast Hitchhike, Military Madness, Rage of the Gladiator, Phalanx, Zombie Panic in Wonderland, Phoenix Wright 1-3... there's like a mountain of great and/or interesting stuff on the service. Really, it's almost too much, and the first time the service compares favorably to XBLA imo.
