How to overcome the fear of flying?

Total:0

You are far more likely to crash whilst driving to the airport than you are flying. The chances of your plane crashing is astronomically small.

And if that doesn't help then this might, 96% of people involved in plane crashes survive. Even if you're involved in a plane crash, it is extremely likely that you will survive.

Quite frankly I would be more worried about getting out of bed in the morning as it is more likely I'll die doing that than flying in a plane.

My parents used to be terrified to flying, so they got temazepam from the doctor. It should knock you out completely, but coupled with the adrenaline from the fear, they sort of balance out so you're really drowsy.

What happened is that each time they flew, they got more and more used to it, and so they got prescribed less and less. When flying to Hong Kong last year (from UK, so that's a 13 hour flight (I think)), my mum went without any drugs, and my dad's prescription was about half of that that he used to use - neither or them had any problems throughout the flying.

Fly more often.. you get used to it.. for me it's like taking a train nowadays..

I was forced on the plane and was having an anxiety attack from the stress.
