02/25/10 SEGA SAMMY developing new console for 2012.

Our sources have just told us that SEGA SAMMY is hard at work on their next arcade board which shall also be released as a home videogame system.

We have learnt that SEGA in 2009 was in talks with AMD, Intel, IBM and Imagination Technologies regarding processors.

SEGA shall reveal the arcade board at in 2011 with the first games releasing in arcades by Q4 2011. The console based of the board shall be revealed in 2012 and the system shall see worldwide release in Q4 2012.

SEGA plans on getting a one year lead on MS and Sony who plan on refreshing their current systems in 2013.

More as we get it.

this is the same rumor based website that has been saying various consoles would come out with no real backing. Locking as spam.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
