Splinter Cell: Conviction will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC in April, Ubisoft has consistently made it clear that the game is a true 360 exclusive, but are they telling the truth?

Will we witness the game come to PS3 sooner rather than later? According to a Blockbuster listing, it just might.

Look at the scan below, although could be a typo, it shows a number of games and movies with the dates and times they’ll be available, but what caught my attention was the Splinter Cell: Conviction listing that also lists PS3 as one of the platforms.

It’s also listed as available on February 23rd, the date it was supposed to be released before Ubisoft abruptly postponed it to a later date.

Does Blockbuster know something we don’t? Hopefully Ubisoft will come out and clarify the situation, but something is curiously going on behind the scenes. I always wondered why the game was delayed and why so many other clues have be popping up all around the web.

Just like the Canadians listed GOW3 as coming to 360 for $10 more than the PS3 version i think it might just be a typo.

Gamestop gave me the option to preorder Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 as well. This is a typo.

Could happen eventually though, since MS has become the "timed exclusive" company.

There's 2 ways:


1) Microsoft paid for exclusivity and it won't come to the PS3;

2) Microsoft paid for timed exclusivity and It will come to the PS3.

Who cares? If it does come to PS3, it is at least a year away. Nobody should be willing to pay full price for sloppy seconds anyways.

All the previous Splinter Cells have gone to Playstation consoles right? Seems to reason this one will be no different.

Yes it will.But unfortunately only in 2011.
