well, the driving physics from the GT5 demo are already superior to FM3 driving physics according to most gtplanet/neogaff users.

I dont even need to mention the technical aspect where GT5 is ... also superior (more prettier cars on race)

My mom thinks Left4Dead has the best graphics ever, does that make it better than Crysis?

I read up until the 1700 people online part. All I have to say to that is its mostly a single player game in my opinion. Online is cool and all but its the single player I want GT5 for. I'd buy it if it had no online.

Way too much to read there... But i can offer a better summary.

It was massivley overhyped by Turn 10, and certain fans.

Summary of article in one line:
Forza 3 was a huge disappointment.

Why? The game has not improved much on Forza 2. The graphics in Forza 3 look better but that is all. Turn 10 made huge claims but they did not deliver.

There is no need to bring in Gran Turismo 5 into the discussion and go on about how much better it is than Forza 3.

The original post is completely right and it sounds as though he thoroughly played through the game even more so than the actual reviewers. I agree with the post completely as well and I still love and play Forza 3 but there is no doubt that this game is nothing but a minor upgrade from Forza 2. I just wanna know how they think they are gonna get away with lying about how 'realistic' Forza 4 is gonna be because no one is going to believe them.

Not gonna bother reading this...but here is a mathematical equation that proves that nothring is wrong with forza 3.

Forza 3 = very fun game to me

me = really hates racing sims

hence Forza 3 = racing sim that offers fun for more than digital car junkies

Yes, the backbone of his argument is that since there are 1,700 people playing online at one time, the userbase of 2 million must not be happy with the game.  What he doesn't do, is give the online community numbers for similar games after similar time periods after release.  Until he does that, it is a silly argument.

As much as I appreciate comments from people who may have agendas I think I prefer the InsideSimRacing guys take on it. Now interestingly they agree the Multiplayer could be better but for areas such as Physics and Fun they hugely rate this game.

Anyway if you really are interesting in FM3 and how it performs go check these guys out.
