Forums - Gaming - Is gaming in the 2nd half of the year going to be epic?

With Microsoft (Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Crackdown 2), Sony (God of War 3, Heavy Rain, MAG) huge 3rd party games (LP2, FF13, SSF4) and now Nintendo (NMH2, Red Steel 2, MH3, SMG2, Metriod: Other M) going all out for the first half of the year is the 2nd half of the year the most anticipated?

Just want to play good games

Yes, the second half of the year is going to be massive for all gamers.

This entire year is going to be ridiculous.

It will more then likely be an epic win for all three consoles.

We will see. Frankly, at least on the 'Nintendo' side (meaning the Wii and DS), they do seem to be planning all their big name games for March-June. But this is mostly like every year. The last 2 years, Nintendo has released most of their big name titles around this same time, and tapered off the rest of the year with little to offer with only 1-2 major titles. I'm anticipating Nintendo will pull out some 'unknown' games for later in the end of the year (Nov-Dec) like they usually do.

As for the rest of the consoles and developers, its up in the air.

Six upcoming games you should look into:
