Forums - Sales - Other sites like VGCharts?

I was just wondering what the other types of websites that track gaming sales. Anyone know of any good/reputable/etc. sites? I was told about this place, http://nexgenwars.com/ But I'm not sure how good of a source it is. There's also NPD and Chart Track, right? I'd like to know what other sites are there so I can compare them all.

Around the Network

NPD - American and Canadian data only Chart Track -UK data Next gen wars..based on a formula for worldwide sales - way to high for 360, too low for PS3 and Wii. Vgcharts..based on famitsu.com, m-create data for Japan, NPD US + Canada (and estimated for the rest of North America) for the Americas Data, Others is based on Euro/Aussie/non-Japan Asia data/estimations. Vgcharts is based on real information from around the world..not guesses or one region like the other sites you listed.

based on a formula for worldwide sales Huh...and what kind of formula gets numbers like those anyways? I was curious about the million differences So are there no other worldwide sales sites out there?

The problem with NPD is they're pretty (ridiculously) guarded about their data. Why is this?

I don't have a lot of respect for that site (had a chat to the creator when it first came out). I think the numbers are fairly bogus, and it uses a silly "interpolation" system to keep the numbers ticking over, and to keep people refreshing the site. Probably making a mint out of Google AdWords ;)

Look at the (useless) graph on the main page for instance. Could show a lot more interesting things than that (i.e. monthly variations in sales, etc..).

I also used to visit (and still occasionally do) pcvsconsole.com -- which has some good threads on sales figures for each region. Nice tabulated figures, etc.
