oh wow lol did he really bail when the slim launched? that guy was really anti-PS3 so wouldn't doubt it but still... thats abit weird.

anyways i miss that one guy who had a chaos legion avatar for a little while, he wasn't around much but meh. i liked him, alot.

I might bail as soon as i hit 10k posts, kinda makes me feel like i have no life getting that high round here. :/

I think it's cute that people members that had meltdowns and were accordingly perma'd are being written as "requesting a ban."

Does diomedes count? I can't remember if it was 08 or 09 when he got slapped with the permaban stick.

I didn't start posting until Jan 09 (or thereabouts), but I started lurking Jan 08 (and consequently signed up May 08), so I had the pleasure of reading the contributions of most of those posters before they went.

Miss DMJ; doubtless one of the best guys to have on your side in a debate on here. Knew loads and wrote eloquently.

Afaik, Benga had something serious happen in his life late last year, hence the disappearance. I've heard he might be coming back soon. Hope so! Again, a great poster and had a talent for shutting people down quickly by slapping them with facts and reasoning (a la Montana).

Still, big characters will always move on eventually. Circle of life. They're hard to replace, but some of those who would be considered "recent posters" will go on to become new household names. VGC will always have the smartest videogame fans on the interwebz.

Akuma is also missing... hmmm.. he usually made a pretty good argument. Its sad he stopped coming here.. maybe he was banned.. I dunno.

He was not banned. Not sure where he went.

He was a huge supporter of Obama, so that gets hard to support. For the liberals here on this site that support there views of liberalism, you can keep doing that with little issue. Supporting Obama on the other hand is something close to imposable.

When was the last time you heard anything.. and I mean anything.. positive about Obama?
