100ms lag on mice is deemed unacceptable. Same thing with anything over 10ms refreshrate on monitors. Just applying the exact same standards across all the board.

All the kids played the baseball game in the shops here (when the Wii was new and the hottest thing in town). This is a game where lag does not play any role at all (as long as it is not too large) so it would perfectly be doable with Natal. I'd assume that this will be the first wave of games with Natal. A graphically souped up baseball game placed next to the plain Wii game and it would be game over for the wii demo..

Yeah and they were using last years E3 hardware, in which there is now a new build that is better

And as we know, this new build has one hardwre chip less than the original... so your mileage of "better" is debatable..

not proven and they've already said the new build is improved; why wouldn't it be?

That's not bad at all.

why do you compare this to mice?

the only thing this can be compared to is the generation's standard... wireless controlers.

As a developer I think the lag will depend on how the game Is going to analyse the body as well. I mean, a game which have to analyse only the hands must have less lag that one which have to analyse to full body.

THis just depends on the type of game...might be an issue with a fighter....or a racer... but yeah..it can be something annoying or it can be something not even noticeable , hope it's the latter

@hephastos

of course he compares it to mice, check his posts, all go right back to the old pc

in this case tho hes right, and you do want your wireless controllers to work as good as a mouse

or itd be garbage

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Wii Friend Code: 4094-4604-1880-6889

it will be interesting to see if people who hated on kz2 lag can accept this.
Also, the other way around.

Because some people use mice the same way they use a controller?
