hmm... I never played through it, but it was good. Why did I discontinue it, meh, can't remember.

Played it and beat it and pretty much hated it. Both main characters pissed me off and I really hated how it made you switch between 2 different groups during the course of the game. Front Mission 4 did the same thing, switching between 2 different groups and I basically just gave up on that game.
i love the girl with big boobs in the game.

I reallky liked it as well, I wonder why the team hasn't made a PS3 JRPG. What's cattle call up to anyway? I know they made a sequel but it didn't do very well (wasn't even released in Europe).
I really liked it too!
Story and characters were really good. Loved the Darc story, and the development of both. I really enjoyed the 2-sided storyline, something i hadn't experienced before in a game.
Just got back into it yesterday and played an entire piece of Darc's story line. The part where he turns a Ferbil into a Prylon [not sure if I spelt those two words right].
Gonna play more later today.

One of the best RPGs i played
A real under-appreciated gem

g-value said: I just recently remembered about a jrpg that I played a few years back called Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. I remembered it being absolutely fantastic. The storyline was really compelling (Darc's story in particular was AWESOME and very original), the characters were awesome (Darc FTW) and the battle system was very good (not the best though). Has anyone here played this jrpg before? |
yup completed it last year actually. Very enjoyable, and it is actually made by a french company and was published by sony.
