Interestingly, when I was a Gamestop over the weekend, they had 250 GB models, but no 120 GB models. The opposite of Amazon. It is really strange that this is going on at all. Either demand has gone higher than Sony anticipated, or there is some problem with production (or possibly a new model). Sony should come out and just tell everyone what is going on and when it will be resolved.
