Plus, this is something you have to claim online AND something for only original XBOX users, so it's not quite the same as packing the game in with 360s.

it isnt the same ike packing it with 360 but its a great deal,and also microsoft isnt getting desperate they are just doing a good move because halo3 is a system seller

 Sorry, where do you see that it is only for original Xbox owners?!  All I see is that you must buy a 360 between 11/21 and 12/21, and power it up, and register a new Live account with it.

While it's not a pack in, it's definately tempting for someone who knows that when they DO finally get a 360, Forza 2, and Halo 3 are both on their "to buy list".

 

I just whish we'd seen another price cut...  $450 for the elite is still too much (on its own...).
