Here's how I think about it:

Let's say you thought North America was the best continent (since it has the best country ever in it, the United States). So to answer whether it is truly the best continent, think about this. If someone put the name of every country in that continent on different pieces of paper, and threw them in a hat, what are the chances you'd get a country that has a stable government and economy and good living conditions? A lot lower than Europe. If that's the method you're going for, then it's Europe. If you're counting significance and contributions to the world in modern times, it's Europe again (although the U.S. has done quite a bit).

So yeah, I'd go with Europe.

But in North America you have Canada, Mexico and USA, all of them have a stable goverment and good living conditions(you could argue Mexico doesnt but depends on the bar you use to measure), so I dont see where the "a lot lower than Europe" comes from.

And Honduras, and Belize, and Cuba, and Haiti and Trinidad.........

Well, I actually refer as those as central america if you want to divide america in 3, but would be north if you just consider north and south, so by that what Montana said would be correct.

I was going to say North America because like Montana said it has the best country ever. But then it was brought down ten notches because Canada is also there. >.

Asia collectively the best looking girls.

Then Europe close second.

Yes, but there are also a lot of countries in North America that I wouldn't want to live in, a lot more than in Europe. You may have the chance of being in one of those three countries, but you also have a lot higher chance of being somewhere in Latin America or the Caribbean (and maybe in a country without a stable government and/or good living conditions).

Edit: Obviously I'm not counting those nations separately as Central America. Central America isn't a continent.

The lack of Antarctica offends me!

I've changed my mind. I said North America because of Canada and USA but then I remembered we also are stuck with Mexico and Haiti.

I've decided to go with Europe. Although they have crap like France, they do have awesome countries like UK, Germany, Russia and Italy.

I'm not from France, but I'm curious: Why do you dislike France?
