Touch screen and mic are a given, but do you think Sony will move even more towards the DS model and integrate double screen in it's next handheld?

If not, will it underperform next to the DS 2, because it has 2 screens like the current successful DS?

I don't think so. I think they will try to make a more powerful but smaller version of the current PSP, using a slide feature like GO if necessary, and including more software features to counter the CFW.
That's just my opinion at least.

No, for the sake of the "me too" jokes. They already have a similar concept to Nintendo's motion controllers, the next we don't need is a similar handheld.

That model isn't suitable for simultaneous button and touch screen use.

For that buttons need to be on the sides of the screen.

Imagine yourself playing mario64DS for instance, and then having to touch the superior screen. Completely awkward.

I can almost bet a chicken that the PSP2 will look nothing like that.
