So last night I was at the Stockholm Concert Hall, attending Castlevania: The Concert. It was beyond awesome. About 60% of the music was from Symphony of the Night, which incidentally is my favorite Castlevania, and thus I was a very happy panda. Not only did they perform the pieces splendidly (they even used the massive pipe organ for quite a few of them), but they even got Michiru Yamane herself to appear and assist with a few of the songs, and write and perform a completely new arrangement for one of the songs from Symphony of the Night (I forget if it was Waltz of the Pearls or Requiem for the Gods.)
If they perform again, make sure to not miss this if you're a Castlevania-fan. It was truly moving. Was anybody else from VGChartz there last night?
