Assuming the game doesn't suck, because we have to accept that possibility, it will do much better than most people here are expecting.

Even if people want the game, this will be one of those games you can't find on store shelves. Personally I expected 1-1.5m, but considering Ubisofts grim outlook, I really don't know what to think now.


You're right, the way Ubisoft promotes games on the Wii, this game's sales could be low.

Oh,damn, thanks megaman79. I forgot about that completely. Yea GOWIII does come out around the same time of Red Steel 2.

^No biggie. It might reduce first week sales somewhat, but most of Red Steel 2 sales should come on legs and excitement from people playing it.

400k. First the Gameplay does not look spectacular. It's removed multiplayer. It's trying to sell on flash not content. The videos show the best your going to get of gameplay. Once it's played the gameplay rating is going to drop. It won't get comercials.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Under 0.5 m, I was really looking forward to this title, but now I'm not so sure. I've got burned on few other Wii titles that were praised, but didn't do it for me.
