They gave it an Great/10 (higher then FFXIII's rating on the site). They say that the characters, gameplay, visuals and soundtrack are awesome but the storyline is dull (but almost non-existent).

But that's the most important part to me

 

Agreed, everything seemed so great until I saw that.

It's a tri-Ace game, did it ever matter?

It's a JRPG, so it matters. Why else would I spend 40+ hours on it?

I liked SO3 & 4's battle system, but I stopped playing them because the story, characters and dialogue were dreadful. Tri-Ace needs to step it up in their narratives.

I was afraid of this, but now RoF is a rental.

End Of Eternity is a awesome Game I just got the Japanese Version this week along with the Japanese Version of Star Ocean 4 International another awesome game but I like Final Fantasy XIII better because of the Story.

Also Dark Chronicle(Dark Cloud 2) is one of the best JRPGs on the PS2 and like most LEVEL 5 games the story is good but not grate but the gameplay is awesome.

Hm, based on the demos for both I preferred XIII's battle system. Honestly, I didn't enjoy End fo Eternity's all that much.

Though maybe the game is better in other areas (exploration, etc.).

Uh... I finished Demon's Souls. Twice!

And I would've vinished Valkyria Chronicles if I hadn't lost my save file.  ;_;

As for the others, I haven't actually started any of them but XII (which I also lost), so I haven't not finished them by any means.  And I don't even have Persona 4!

Add Legend of Dragoon to that. He made a VGChartz plays LoD thread and played it like halfway through, then stopped it when he got FF VII or VIII. Turns out he didn't even start it? Pff

He probably heard of Suikoden and at least played Demon's Souls. We can use "mm477" on someone instead of seraphic 2 now

Huh? i assume seraphic = me ... if so ... wtf? im one of the most well known rpgs fans on this site if anything, i jus' hate demons and 2d stuff.
