This thread strikes me as a little perverse. It didn't at first, but once people were literally sitting there, watching the number of users online, and posting every time there was a significant change in the number of users.... ew guys, just ew.
The site is more popular now, we can all agree to that. Now let's move on, before they all leave because they're tired of listening to people talk about how much more popular they are now.

It peaked at over 1600 people yesterday. It hasn't dropped below 600 in the last 24 hours.
It would be cool to see some statistics about where guests spend their time at. Do they read mostly charts, forums, or news?
