Nope. It's a rental for me... unless the rental convinces me otherwise.

Currently the gameplay is coming off as something I wouldn't really enjoy and would just be playing for the "Choose your own adventure" style.

Which, if that's the case... once I go through the adventure a couple times... I'm done. I don't rewatch movies often and i don't replay games for the story very often.

Yes, eventually. Not right away though--too many other games.

Final Fantasy XIII, White Knight Chronicles, Star Ocean 4, End of Eternity, Last Rebellion, God of War III.....just crazy the amount of games releasing right now. And JRPGs always come first for me.

I will buy Heavy Rain for sure.
It won't be as good as Shenmue... but I hope Heavy Rain will be good enough to satisfy me until Shenmue 3.
