Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is one of the hardest games to get 100% completion on, and I did it last night (To give you an idea of how hard it is... since I have owned this game, I have gotten a 9999 VR on four profiles in Mario Kart Wii and have actually beaten some of TWRoO's Time Trials).  

Here's the steps to completing Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz:

1) Beat all eight worlds.  

It's not that easy, but a lot of people have struggled through it and claim that the have beaten the game.  I know better...

2)  Get crowns on all eight worlds. 

In order to get a crown on a world, you have to complete all ten levels on it without using a continue.  This is enough to get someone to scream profanities at the screen and make you want to go find whoever designed these levels and force them to watch Norbit one hundred times in a row.  You have to do it on World 1 in order to be able to do it on World 2 and so on.  Trying to do it on World 8 is enough to humble anyone.  Doing this on all the worlds opens up World 9.

3)  Get a crown on World 9.

This is even harder than getting a crown on World 8 since World 9-6 is by far the hardest level in the game up to that point, and the other levels on that world aren't cake either.  After taking what seemed like forever and a day, I did this and opened up the second secret world.  Yes, there is a World 10.

4 a)  Complete World 10.

This took me until last night.  It's because of World 10-5. 

4 b) Beat World 10-5.

Not only is it by far the hardest level in Monkey Ball history (this is saying a lot), but this is probably the hardest level that I have finished in my life (this is saying even more).  It's so hard that I completed all other 99 levels in the game and stopped playing the game for over two years because of this one level.  Thousands upon thousands of deaths tested my mettle and forced me to give up, and I don't give up 99% into a game.  A couple of days ago I decided that I should try to beat it since there is now a new Monkey Ball game that I will probably pick it up soon.  After playing World 10-5 for about two hours a day the last a couple of days I finally did it!!!  Anyone doubting the difficulty of this level should check it out on You Tube.  How could they call World 10 Ultra Heaven???  That's the exact opposite of what it should be called.   

So, in conlusion, I'd like to say that defeating Super Money Ball Banana Blitz is the most hardcore gaming experince that I've ever had.  It nearly killed me I tell you.  Has anyone else finished all 100 levels?  I expect Rol to come into this thread and tell me that he did it in five hours.  I also expect Badgenome to make a joke about Monkey Balls and for everyone to laugh.  Probably no one will post at all and I'll be just talking to myself...

So has anyone played Super Monkey Ball: Step and Roll??  Has it been made easier?  I hear that the Balance Board controls aren't that good, but if the Wii Remote controls are the same then that's all that I care about.           

I only own one Monkey Ball title, but I know how hard it can get.

I'm actually happy that you found so much value out of the game; enough to try achieving so many things with it. The fact you got your money's worth is good to see.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a glitch in that level where you fall right through the platform before the final climb.

I've got to get this game some time. I've tried previous Super Monkey Ball games, and yeah, I know just how hard and frustrating they can get.

That's the one.  You have to jump over the platform to get onto the rap that has the boosters that can easily shoot you over the goal.  Not that I'd know anything about that... 

Getting to the glitchy platform is much harder then everything after it though.

I didn't like the controls on the game, granted I rented it for my little sister in law and thought the game and mini-games would be fun. She didn't like it at all so I only really played the single player a for a few short tries.

I was reading IGN's review of the Step & Roll game, and they say the balance board controls work, but it is a lot harder. They remove obstacles to make it "fair" compared to using the Wii Remote. They also said the controls were essentially the same between the two games.

These people are wacky. The controls for Banana Blitz were great! I salute you sir. I gave up on world 9. It made me far far far too angry.

Well done, I'd consider you more of a hardcore gamer after completing a game like this than someone who spends their entire life playing GTA, MW2 etc etc

It takes a lot of dedication and 'real' skill to complete this type of game to the level you have.

Having said all that, it's only a computer game so don't feel too smug! :0P

Yes.  I have played the others and World 10-5 is the by far the hardest level in the entire series by far.  It's hard to believe, but true.
