GBA didn't outsell PS1 (by the end of the generation, the PSP may be the 2nd best selling handheld next to the DS, if it isn't killed off before it hits 70M)

If there is no DS 2 in 2010 (which I hope there isn't) its likely it will surpass the PS2, despite starting to drop in sales due to market saturation.

PS2 is still selling though, and to date sony has shipped over 142M, nintendo still need to ship out 15-20M DS' before they can match the PS2 in LTD sales.

The wii might do it, but I have my doubts, its $199, and despite being cheaper than last year at the same time, its falling behind..

then again stock is an issue for nintendo in the U.S

The gameboy still has 117 million.

Never. The world will end in 2012 and the wii won't outsell it until 2013.

In all seriousness though. late 2012 to early 2013. That's when the wii will outsell ps2

How is the Wii on track to beat the DS when on most weeks, the DS outsells the Wii despite being years older?
