THQ has made 3 quality games in the last year

UFC 2009
Darksiders released 2010
Dawn of War II

I can't complain about their decisions either to develop for wii or hd consoles, it doesn't bother me if they go out of business as well, as long as they keep delivering quality products for the core market.

Red Faction was pretty shitty anyhow, I'll give Darksiders the benefit of a doubt.

Well nice to see them expand platforms for the franchise as it has a chance to be a pretty big platformer.

But it's simply irresponsible to state that when something YOU release isn't YOUR fault why it doesn't do well but it is always someone else's flop. These publishers need to get over themselves and learn that this is a sales market. You release the product and you guarantee its success or failure. Too much lately we've been hearing them making excuses of it's the userbase or the economy or whatever. Those factors do play in, but by not knowing that they have no one to blame but themselves. Guess no one else finds it rude and disrespectful to the owners of a system that are constantly getting blamed for THEIR failures.

He unlike others was not making excuses at all, he made it clear that the market for the HD is different than that of the Wii and promise to bring games that matches that audience which only Ubisoft and sometimes EA understands.

Yeah it amazes me that these companies that apparently don't understand that there is no core market on Wii keeps making core games and they keep selling core games! I mean how could any core developer be as successful on the Wii!  You sir see the light!

Competition is a bi***, and there currently isn't bigger competitor than Nintendo.
So, developing on Wii and competing with Nintendo is a tough job, and many devs don't have the sthrenght to constantly output quality content. Expect maybe for Bioware and Blizzard.

.

"many devs don't have the sthrenght to constantly output quality content"

Just that putting them on the HD systems doesn't make them better (I mean the developers who make mediocre games, not the great developers), just more expensive.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

lol it is some what true what he is saying.

on another not he praises deadly creatures so much. a 5hour game lol which got low scores.

why dont they port it to HD twins and see if the "core" market for that game is there too.
