A delayed game is good someday, a bad game is bad forever.
People buy PS3 because it is the best deal currently avalaible in electronics. They buy it Because Sony has the best games. People buy it because they know that Sony will never let them down. The PS3 is a solid platform, and People like to make a stable purchase. That is why the PS3 sells. The real question is why does the Wii sell. That system has nothing but wii sports. Sure say zelda or paper mario, and I say see ya on gamecube. Tell me look at how many 4M plus games Nintendo made for the Cube, and I'd say duh Nintendo made most of the games for the Cube and if people wanted to play games and not get another system thats all they had. Now I am not saying that the Cube games Nintendo are bad, but they sure as hell are not as good as a lot of lesser selling games on PS2 and Xbox. And the well PS2 sold 5 times as many systems is skewed to first PS2 had a lot of multiple buys due to bad hardware (which is not a factor with PS3) and it also had like 5 times more games to buy, so each game sold less.

If you don't think GTA would work on the Wii, there are a lot of people who beg to differ. There's a reason Godfather : Blackhand is becoming *the* most talked about Wii game. :) If GTA 4 came to Wii with controls as good as Godfather or maybe even better, you'd better believe it would hurt the PS3/360 sales considerably. And we're quickly finding out that the Wii reviews don't count worth crap, we're getting massive variations in scores for the same game from different big reviewers. Excluding a few titles, almost all of the Wii games are varying around 35-40% score difference. The only conclusion that I can come up with is that the traditional standards for reviewing games don't work well for the Wii. And btw, coming from a PC background, I've never been able to accurately control a gamepad FPS with free-aiming, and Red Steel was the first free-aim console FPS I've been able to enjoy. All I had to to was some minor control configuration changes and I was about as good as I am with a mouse and keyboard, something I'll never be able to accomplish with a gamepad. I know many others feel the same way. All I'm willing to say is that if things keep going the way they are, my Wii/DS combo is going to serve me well for many years, without the need for any other console. :)
Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
