You can have a good game, and they usually almost always are. But the hype levels are just so high that if one little single thing is wrong in the game that they don't like. Then the game is a failure

i think it will as long as they dont have to cut enough content to create a whole game, yea ffxiii being ported im talkin to u, ill get both for the ps3 but i have higher hopes for ff v xiii

Every game has cut content. This is nothing new.

My personal thought is that no, it will not. I'm not saying it's going to be a bad game, but it (as well as pretty much every mainline FF) is put on such a high pedestal that it would be impossible to live up to it all. I've seen a few even trying to hail it as the next savior of the PS3. Yeah... I don't know about that...

To reduce the level of fail would be to keep it a PS3 exclusive. I dont even need to list reasons, we all know why. Of course the game can still be full of fail if it stays a PS3 exclusive, but just a lot less fail than it would be as a multiplat game.

Also, I would highly doubt Versus scoring any better, but it mostly like will because it's an action RPG.

Geez, take off the blinds off your eyes and realize that this is a multiplatform generation and that Square-Enix is no longer about creating quality products for one console. They are all about the money like most of the big dogs in the industry. And just because a game is multiplatform doesn't mean is lesser because of one media or the other. If that were the case then all games for PS2 were cut in half cuz it didn't have the power and storage capabilities that the original Xbox offered.
