Forums - Nintendo - Just got Ace attorney ;Miles Edgeworth.....impressions.

Yeah I got it myself. However, I have a stupid backlog so I plan on playing it in a few months. I just wanted to pre-order it to support Capcom for their past great Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice games, plus I don't see it dropping past $26 (what I paid for it) in those coming months anyways.

It's just that simple.

Cool. Thanks for the impressions. I'm looking forward to your full impressions.

I'm on the 3rd case and I love this game- its way better than Apollo Justice, and if it keeps going this way, it'll be better than Justice for All (save the last case.)

I don't want to spoil anything, but I'm glad at what they did with the cases in the game. It's really a lot of fun, and intriguing.

Sounds great!
I've only played Justice for all and Apollo Justice but I absolutely love them! I will probably get the two missing games when they are available on WiiWare, and I will get Miles Edgeworth as well!
I'm so happy this series made it to the west!

Just got to the last case.....THIS GAME IS TOO EPIC!!!!!

To everyone who beat case 4 ......please tell me you didnt cringe at the end of it.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

I finally found this at a retailer. Now I'm in two minds about playing it, if I play now I'll burn through it quickly and I won't have anything to play on commutes... hrmm.

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I finished the game a couple weeks ago. I really liked it, but it's probably my least favourite of all the AA games. I loved the logic system, but I felt that the confrontation system was inferior to the courtroom as it usually felt forced. I lost count how many times the game had a "well, show me the evidence or you've got nothing on me" narrative forwarding moment. Also, It probably had the worst final case in the series, in my opinion.

For the person asking about Kay, I was surprised how much I liked her character. I expected her to be a Maya/Trucy clone, but she wasn't at all.

I'm a short way into the third case, here are some of my thoughts.

So far what I've gone through has been fun and logically consistent. The structure of the game is probably not as good as the traditional courtroom stuff but it's still fun. Occasionally the train of logic the game follows is really weird, but that always happens in Ace Attorney. So far I don't like the Interpol guy, and von Karma is done even worse than in Justice for All, 'I'm arresting you! Oh you say you're not guilty, ok then have free reign over the crime scene' (she was a semi-decent character in T&T IMO). I do like Kay so far, and Edgeworth is fantastic as a lead.
