They might not have the best image, but just in terms of games, they have allowed for some great games to be created this generation. Flower, Heavy Rain, Demon's Souls, Critter Crunch and LittleBigPlanet just to mention some the support they have given to 3rd parties, and then they have their 1st and 2nd parties on top of that. Uncharted, God of War, inFamous, Ratchet & Clank and Killzone, again just to mention some.

Those are all reasons why Sony is my favorite company, I still find it very hard to actually like them though.....

Nintendo for sure, then Sega because they are games companies, so I can identify. I can't identify with the faceless uber-corps like Sony and MS. I just wish Ninty had given me what I wanted this gen, then they would have my favorite console too.

As a company... Nintendo... definitely Nintendo. I can't explain it and honestly, I don't even feel the need to. Nintendo brought me into gaming, they've always had a special place in my heart and they always will have. The company I like the least? Probably Microsoft. Once again, I don't know why. Probably because they fit well in the "Evil, greedy Mass Corporation" stereotype.

I'd agree with that.  I also think the fact that nintendo and sega have excellent mascots may affect how I feel about the companies too...
