Honestly, i'm not a big fan of world maps. They usually don't offer much in the way of secrets and are just annoying to traverse, i much perfer just a menu option to travel from location to location.

And I heard it has airships too like on the old FFs not like on the FF X.

I am the exact opposite, really like the world maps. Love it in FF VII to IX especially on FF VII.

Unfortunately as much as I love the FF7-FF9 overworld map, I am now realizing it will be hard to do it with this being an action rpg, you will expect to see enemies on screen rather than going into battles scene's, I think it may end up doing a FF XII on us all....
