$180? Consider yourself extremely lucky kid. I doubt that insurance covers the antics of 13 y/o behind the wheel, which means that your parents pay the full bill. Which is considerably more then the 180 you payed.

Material things can be replaced. The important thing is that you're okay. And even though it IS your fault for crashing the car, the person who gave you the keys must share some of the blame. It's illegal to permit an unlicensed person to drive. You're 13 for goodness sake.

wow. I'm 19 and a half and the only thing that I have ever drove was a golf cart on a golf course. and that was 2 years ago and that thing scared the hell out of me. I couldn't handle it at all. I can't really see me driving in the near future. Too damn scared and have been in way too many car accidents. D:

Both you and your parents are retarded. Why would they let you drive a car unsupervised? Why the heck would you want to ask them to let you drive at 13?

I am glad your safe, but you were quite stupid to ask them, and they were equally to blame for letting you do it. When I started learning to drive, I had parental supervision 100% of the time in the vehicle. I have yet to have a major accident.

You seriously should not have driven the car and they should not have let you. They should have at least been in the car with you. Hopefully you won't get in an accident EVER again! :P

I've been driving for several years. When I bought a brand new Honda Civic outright this summer and i was stoked. The first day i drove it home I drove my girlfriend and her friends to a party. I was drinking a little but I had no intentions of leaving anytime soon. Out of nowhere my girlfriend decides she wants to kick me out of someone else party. Probably to take part in some illegal activities which she knows i'm against. I was forced to drive home on my own. Drunk and confused I hit a ditch and became airborne. Did $1000 damage to my car DAY 1.

Needless to say this put a lot of stress on our relationship.
