Well in other regions that is not so true, but even for America there are exceptions. PS1 - September In fact the PS3 is the first Sony console to come out in November in NA. |
Nintendo DS also came out in November.

I'd like to see:
PSP2: April 2011
Nintendo's 5th handheld: August 2011
Nintendo's 6th console/Xbox 3: November 2011
PS4: March 2012
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Handhelds: 2011
Consoles: 2013
Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!
Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!
Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!
I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

Gah! I knew I missed one, that's why I added GBC (kinda half a console) but I could just go back further in time when console releases were not so obvious to disprove you further (and remember the North American market is the major one when it come to November releases)
I agree though that in North America, of the next 5 pieces of hardware released (actual successors) probably 3 of them at least will be in November.
Playstation:
- I want to see a Playstation 3 redesign (even slimmer/lighter/smaller) in September 2011 (2 years after the PS3 slim) to go along with a price drop to $199.
- Then I want the Playstation 4 in November 2014 at the earliest.
- We're due for a PSP2 at any time now. It better have dual joysticks, a bigger screen, and more battery life. Oh and do something about piracy if you want good 3rd party support.
Xbox:
- A 360 re-design should come along with the natal launch which makes the console smaller and gets rid of the power brick and a price drop to $250 (for the elite).
- The Xbox 720 should come out 2013 so Microsoft can get the jump on Sony, but hopefully not till 2014. And for f**k sakes don't rush your console. Spend a bit extra time making sure it isn't a fragile piece of crap that breaks down easily. It'll save them millions on extended warranties and repairs.
Nintendo:
- The Wii HD/Wii 2 (whatever they call it) should come out in 2012. All it needs to be is a more powerful version of the Wii that can handle 1080p so it shouldn't take too long to develop.
