But as we know, everyone has its own opinion. Thats why I love Pelaajalehti, which has at least 1 extra reviewer for big games.

I think, there should be at least 3 reviewers for each game, maybe not scores but at least opinions!

It's a good idea. I liked it a lot in EGM. However, there would be the matter of all three reviewers owning the game, making it a lot more difficult to write reviews.

Does it really matter?

How often do even the Famitsu reviewers (who are worthless) differ more than a point? That really wouldn't solve much in the end and there would still be endless bickering.

If not 3 reviewers, I think reviews should also be written from the perspective of people who don't like a particular game or genre or aren't particularly huge fans anyway. One thing which is lacking in reviews is a judgement of how wide the appeal of the game being reviewed and one assumption which is always prevalent is that the person reading is a person who is into the genre.

If games are only rated by people who are into them then what you get is closed off thinking and games made to cater to such. It would be nice to get the perspective of a couple of places that use casual game reviewers or perhaps reviewers for movies who also have a side interest in games but play them on a scale which is similiar to regular joe.

I agree, multiple reviewers is the best way. I stopped paying attention to the big game site reviews after the GTA IV mess. I do like to read the reviews at gamefaqs though, you get different opinions. Some are fan boy rants, but most of the so called "gaming journalists" are fan boys anyway.

You need more copies of the game and either they need larger review staff which means more money or they review less games which means they get less traffic.

It's a pretty lose-lose situation for them.  They might gain the respect of forum-goers, but forum-goers and people who constantly read gaming blogs are a pretty insignificant part of the gaming population.
