I would like to see a break up of each region for GT5's first week and LTD sales from you, because that seems low.

IMO

First Week

America: 900K

Others: 1.5 million

Japan: 500K

Total: 2.9 million

 

LTD

America: 2.5 million

Other: 6 million

Japan: 1.25 million

Total: 9.75 million

Everything is bit high (lifetime sales) except for Gran Turismo, I think. Maybe BC a bit on the low side as well...

Halo Reach won't outsell Halo 3, let alone 14 million units. I don't know why people think Halo Reach will be so big.

The rest of your predictions are close enough to what I'd say. I'd say GT5 hits 10 million though. MW2 has shown that games can do high numbers on PS3 with enough hype and advertising.

no idea but my mw2 for 2009 predictions were spot on

Now, I hate to be a party pooper, but those MW2 predictions were not spot on at all. Just the fact that he predicted a 1.8 million first week, when the actual first week was 4.9 million. He predicted 9 million lifetime, and it's at 9.5 million just after the holidays...

It is, in fact, around what I would have predicted, and that is NOT a spot on prediction.

Bad Company 2 is still too low. It's more like:

X360 1st week: 1 mill. Lifetime: 3.5 mill
PS3 1st week: 800K. Lifetime: 3 mill

God of War 3 has a chance at 4 mill.

GT5 has a good chance at 10 mill

Fable 3 has a chance at 4 mill.

Heavy Rain has chance 1,5 mill.

Alan Wake has a great chance at 3 mill.
