My opinion on this:

In USA PS3 games sell for approx 10-20% more than 360 games, sometimes even more.

In UK they are about the same, with the 360 having a slight advantage.

In Germany older PS3 games are a bit cheaper than older 360 games but the newer (ps3) ones are much more expensive, so ps3 "wins" here, too.

Seems like Sony are selling their games for a bit more than MS.

Oh and do you wonder why 360 is selling so good in "others"?

Arcade fpr 99 pounds, while the ps3 120 gb costs 259 pounds and the most expensive 360 sku in uk is the 250 gb one with forza 3 and one extra controller for 230 pounds still 20 pounds cheaper than the 120 gb ps3 sku

And most of those ps3 title that are priced so high. ex. Resistance 2, get a terrible trade in value at Gamestop. It is ridiculous!!

yes well, blu-ray might be more expensive but it's safer and more reliable. i'm at ease about buying second hand games too. i'd never do that with dvds.

No wonder 360 games are selling more than PS3 games. 360 games have the lower game prices. The quality of both lists of games IMO are roughly equal but that depends on which games you like.

You could go to any retail store and take notice that PS3 games stay full price for a long time.

Bad idea in my opinion. Selling them for full price leads to less copies sold. Selling more copies really helps the sales of the sequels.

In the US, publishers have more control over pricing.

i always buy from amazon UK, i find the best deals there

That has always bothered me, but I think its because Publishers have control over pricing of there games.

It kind of throws out the argument that no piracy would lower the price of games.
