Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and Demon's Souls is not a game for everyone.
It seems one of your main gripes is that Demon's Souls is a heavily based on grinding, and that's basically correct. You'll have to do tons of grinding, especially if you're still learning the basic mechanics and the timings of the game. It's not an easy game to pick up and play, and it has one of the steepest learning curves of recent games.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, but not everyone feels the same. I think that's also why it got so much critical appraisal and so much fan following, it's because it broke from the mold of hold-your-hand type of games.
Demon's Souls is my favourite game so far in this generation and easily ranks in my top 10 of all time. I put over 100 hours in it for the platinum, even when I lost my saved data for the first time, I didn't give up, instead I used that learning experience to improve myself.
Now, I don't agree with elitism from both ways, those who are calling you out for not handling the game, and those who are saying that the game sucks because of it's design choices. Learn to accept that every game is different for everyone and don't downplay games and gamers for their choices.
