ps3's X it's the one that pushes things forward.

X or Square for playstations 3 and portable since its the ones i use to hack n' slash away...

X or A for Xbox 360 same reason as above.

but out of these... well the 360 buttons are a rip of the SNES... they even made it as opposit to the original as it could, the letters are inverted 2 by 2 and the colors are shuffled in a different way... so a double shuffle to not look like a copy (yet they kept the 4 colors...)
At least the PS buttons introduced (did they?) the shapes...i'll go with square too just because when the PS1 came out I was a huge square fan (SNES years).

My favorite's the Triangle button. It's usually what opens up the menu in an RPG and is usally the "strong attack" in action games. It's also the start of my main Ragna combo in Blazblue. X comes in at a close second though.
