Actually a bit on topic. At 21 you're an adult, at 19 you're a teenager. What the hell are you at 20?

Actually your not considered an adult until 25ish anymore...

Psychologically speaking anyway.... 20-25 is generally considered the "Youth" faze now.

Fair game.

That's what d21 from 2009 would say.

im in that part in life where i am not a child but not an adult (17) and its the time where im supposed to decide what college i am going to go to and whether or not i should stay with my girlfriend and decide whether i should move or stay home and what i wanna do and what i like and there are SO MANY DESICIONS....

so my question is....how was that time in ur life when you were 17? whatd you do? do you regret it? the more details the better, thanks guys ^_^

Wow, if you think 17 is that bad are you in for disappointment in the future ...

While teenagers (seem to) believe that increased age implies increased freedom, the older you get and the more responsibilities you get translate into your time becoming someone else’s.

Am not even 17 yet, just another month and a half to go. Then I'll tell you my tale ;P

I kinda think the opposite from people my age, I realized at 15 that, I didnt want to grow up at all.

They way I saw it then was:

-5 years of freedom

- 5 to 14 they bother you with studying when you dont really need to work more

-15-18 study a lot to go to a good university and study a good carrer, get good results in the PSU(a test all students take to get in the University)

- When you achieve your goal, another 5,6, 7 years or more study. Prize: Work :D yay! and a salary that can be good.

- Work for many years and maybe get married or have children which I could care less right now since marriage today doesnt seem all that great today.

- After you have worked several years you get rest, but then you are all sick and cant do shit, die and since I dont know if heaven exist you just turn into dust.

Didnt make me happy but I hope I dont have a regular life or if I do I cn actually live a good life with someone I love and that I didnt pick just because it was all that was left.

17? Worst part of your life? lol just wait ...

Dude, 17 is easy street. Just remember DO NOT fuck up in school(if you care about it). I for one left high school at 16 got a GED, now I am in college(and not doing to well, in all honesty school just may not be my thing). In the end you just need to find a rich woman and enjoy. ;)

I had a shitty senior year.

I started off as a junior, then I transferred schools, and they asked me if I wanted to graduate that year. Of course, being that I hated school, and I still do I said yes.

Months were passing by so quickly. I had yet to register for colleges, and I didn't take my ACT either. So I eventually fucked up that part of my life.

I turned 17 on March 24, 2008.

School was coming to an end, and I had yet to apply for colleges=Idiot.
The school year ended, and I had one of my lowest academic performances in my lifetime.

So I didn't move out because I had no job, and I don't have time to walk around the streets of Minneapolis during winter. I attended a community college for my first year, and worked part time, and I eventually bought myself a car. I decided to try the dorm life for awhile, and I didn't like it. So I eventually moved out and went back to my parents house. Now, I just go my university and work part time for Cubs Food.

Be happy.. You have the internet and Dr Phil to help you out.. me? back then? I only had my reallife friends who where in the same shit I was.. and being in the Netherlands that means blowing weed aaaallll day... a great time in my life!

I'm 17 and still a junior.

I am going to be woefully under prepared when I go out on my own. Luckily, I have awesome parents, and they are going to help me. I will get two shots at the review board for an ROTC scholarship, which is fuckin' awesome since I can go anywhere almost.. And I am damn sure not staying in tennessee.
