obviously you cant play a too detailed rts, but the idea is there.

im glad you didnt argue on the fps tho, as there is no argument, wii = pc level of control, though obviously more comfy than a klunky keyboard and mouse :)

Oh I'm arguing abut the FPS too. I'm sorry but how do you handle more than 3 guns? You can't have a game like UT or Quake on the Wii, therfore the PC is automatically better. Just like you have to have a dumbed down RTS, you have to have a dumbed down FPS on the Wii.

i fail to see how its 'automatically better' because of something you could remap or work around easily?

but yeh if youre still playing ut and quake youre prolly a guy whos been married to his pc for 10 years or more by now, so may as well stop arguing.

People who realize that Quake and UT are games which have yet to be topped? You can't map 10ish guns buttons to the nunchuck, on top of crouch, jump, switch to best, switch to last. Those are also just the most basic and needed controls besides point and shoot. You can't do it on the wii with a nunchuck, therfore it's automatically inferior.

I'd love to hear what UT has been surpassed by. I've been looking for 6 years now. Enjoy yoru dumbed down games made for so that even 10 year olds can handle them. Kinda feel sorry for you if you enjoy them so much.

I'm a huge Left 4 Dead fan, and having played the pc version extensively, going to the xbox version is simply painful. Apart from 30fps instead of 60, I can't imagine anyone being able to do expert/expert realism playthroughs as it would be virtually impossible with a controller (Do any xbox l4d2 players here have the 'Still something to Prove' or 'The Real Deal' achievements and didn't cheat to get them? I'm seriously curious).

I mean there are several 100+ post threads dedicated to the differences between ps3/360 games. Most of the time it's a complete joke compared to differences that console and pc versions multiplats regularly have.

talking about dumbed down? how is ut brain surgery exactly? what makes it so 'high brow'

sounds pretty high intelligence to me. when you guys finish playing ut online do you all meet at the games workshop after for some 40k?

see to me street fighter 2 has not been surpassed, but i admit the genre has moved forward and isnt all dumbed down garbage. i dont have to be a sf2 nazi or anything.

how goes the games workshop? good thing theres that and ut to keep you busy till star trek gets a sequel :)
