well the PS3 crwod were mostly behind right games in the graphics.

 

KZ2 is insane and so is uncharted 1 and 2 ,..

Forza 3: jagg fest

modern warfare 2: low res texture/pixaleated texture when you get close to anything.

Mass effect 2:beautiful game from artistic design but lacking the horse power side of graphics.you can't tell me this is imprssive graphically at all:

This looks awesome on the other hand.not comparable to uncharted since uncharted is bright and colorful but this is dark and has a scary vibe to it.but they are very fine examples of polished games.

So funny every time its a graphic debate its always these 2 games and everything else is ugly. First of all yes Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 looks better than everything on 360. But they are still ugly games when compared to just about any recent PC game so whats the argument?

Plus most games you mentioned looks better than just about every PS3 game except those 2. So again, are you saying that every PS3 game except those 2 are ugly?

And to be perfectly honest this game looks better in my eyes than Uncharted 2. Also graphics isn't everything, PS2 kicked Xbox and Gamecubes as and the graphic difference was much bigger than 360 and PS3. In fact 360 has a better graphic card than PS3. And guess what? Wii is kicking everybodies as and its a fucking Gamecube with a new controller.

It's pretty funny that threads like this with a ps3 game, all have peaceful and exciting comment, but if you create a thread like this for a 360 game, all hell breaks loose.  LOL....

Still looks utterly mediocre to me. They ruffled Wake's jacket too much, the polygons are easily visible, and that ruins games for me (example: MGS4 has easily visible polygons in character models). The lighting, although possibly technically impressive, feels overblown in my opinion, to the point of looking incredibly fake. I'd say the game looks better than the first Uncharted by a mile, but it's still well behind Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2. Character models in particular are incredibly ugly IMO.

Splinter Cell is looking a lot better as far as I'm concerned, the lighting in Conviction looks much more natural. The character models in Conviction don't do much for me either, but overall the environment is incredibly impressive and much closer to "best console graphics ever".

This games looks awesome. It fits perfectly to the style of the game, which is by far the most important thing.

I wamt this now.

Possibly. But damn Alan Wake has really kicked off graphics to new levels this gen on consoles. Technically it's phenominal.

Now that I can definately agree with. Would like to see it in motion more before saying it's the best looking console game of the gen though. When's the release date?
