i was trying out the HR demo and out of no where... shut down on me for no reason... YLOD was displayed as soon as i touch the ON button... my PS3 is a 2.5 year old 60gb with BC (which i never use) that i bought a bit after they launched here in Europe. i am very sad. i have been treating it so good. why ohh why?
is out of warranty and i have no backup of my saved games... now that so many games are coming out...
well i will fix it myself but its hard to see my baby sick... of all my friends, mine was the last to go down...

just thought to share this with you...
its pretty traumatic.

2010 Hardware Sales Predictions

Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.

PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.

Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

My Fanboy Speech...

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!

Don't panic it's fixable,go on you tube and type in ylod fix and there's a vid 6 parts long going through step by step how to fix it.Mines ylod last month,tried the vid and now working like new.

yeah... i saw those... i already have a heat gun and just have to buy thermal paste... do you think it will last? my main reason i am going that path is because o dont have any backup of my save game files!
