Forums - Sales Discussion - NPD in January

Sony pushed 276,900 PlayStation 3s in the U.S. in the month of January, according to statistics released today by the NPD Group. Nintendo led the pack in January, selling 465,800 Wiis and 422,200 DSs. Microsoft sold 332,800 Xbox 360s in January.

Im still surprised the PS3 has sold this many consoles, considering the absolutely retarded shortages stores around the US have been having. Our local gamestops/BB have not had PS3s on the shelf for most of the month (and when they do get their "small" shipments in they are gone almost instantly). The same goes for the Wii (atleast in my area).

@Ssen

Why are they supplying so little amount of consoles
