Wooh Wii and maybe DS a little more supply strained than originally thought.  Well I definitely knew Wii is that way but surprised about DS.  PS3 had some supply issues but not even close to the same magnitude as Wii but could have affected sales a tad but 360 did really well.  PSP, oh my goodness fall from grace continues. 

Software wise, no surprised aside from maybe 40th day doing a little better than first thought.  New Super Mario Bros Wii maintains its dominance, still able to beat out both versions of MW2 fairly easily.  Wii Fit Plus, WSR, Just Dance, and Mario kart Wii continue strong Wii software.  Darksiders and ME2 have great openers. 

Are you surprised?  The predictions have it doing almost twice the 360.

NSMB is #1 in the states still? My goodness. Even with Shortages the system remains a distant first. Impressive.

Mario Kart Wii is undertracked by 200 000 units!!!!

That would mean year over year

PS2 = Down 60k

PS3 = UP 73k

PSP = DOWN 72k

360 = UP 23k

Wii = DOWN 214k

DS = DOWN 90k

Total sales 340k DOWN year over year, ouch that is bad.

Shame to see shortages steal so much away from the Wii, but still amazing software sales.

3rd month in a row VGC is down on MW2 (both versions) and Darksiders 360 VGC vs NPD !!

Wow, PS2 and PSP really dipped a lot compared to the months before the holiday season. And there is a third party game for Wii in the top 10...

PS3 and Wii had shortages.
