gen 1, GB
Gen 2, GBC
Gen 3, GBA
Gen 4, DS
Gen 5, DS
If you consider GB and GBC as different, that's the first time there was more than 1 pokemon set in 1 generation

Well I like the new pokemon's design. I feel like I'm the only one that likes the newer designs. I love the older ones more, sure, but the new ones are mostly good too.
I'm a Sony Fan.
But I love Pokemon,it's the one thing that keeps my DS in use.
I saw a few days ago that Nintendo is apparently working on some new hardware, maybe it could be an actually new Handheld as apposed to another DS update. I mean the DS is now 5 years old,and 6 in Japan I think...
A new generation of Pokemon sounds good to me,especially if it's on a new handheld.
But I do think the games should be more challenging.
For example,if Nintendo were to develop a powerful handheld like the PSP,we could have portable pokemon games with the graphics of something like Battle Revolution, and it would be considerably larger in size than any pokemon game so far if they used a bigger size memory card to put games on.

Mostly? Let's see...
I only bought and played DPt because at least some of the Pokémon saved it: Torterra, Roserade, Garchomp, Lucario (mostly these two), Weavile, Gliscor, Gallade and Darkrai, which is unlikely to happen in V Generation, as we've seen in its first species. For instance, Lucario was shown to demonstrate players the IV Generation would have many other Pokémon like it, but Zoroark shows that the useless Game Freak morons are getting close to what we've seen in Keitai Denju Telefang (Pokémon Diamond & Jade).
I'm telling you, if you haven't seen the monsters in that game, try searching and I'm sure you'll find one who is just like that ugly fox.
Can we please not turn this into a nostalgia/generation war topic? I can name both good and bad designs from all generations.
we need more pokémon! - mankind needs to create a pokémon for every species it wipes out
No, its not too soon at all. And there are rumors they will be launching with a new hand held which would be awesome.
Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I've never said I don't like it, in fact, it's my favourite franchise from Nintendo. However, people should step up and speak when something MUST STOP. Look at that ugly thing called Zoroark: it's a TELEFANG, not a Pokémon! I don't mind new game, I don't mind new moves, new abilites or any changes in gameplay, but they must STOP CREATING STUPID AND UGLY SPECIES. |
Zoroark is based on this: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/bestiary.html?fmob=5909 It's based on a Gnole, or a wolf that has human-like characteristics (not a werewolf, but a reverse of one). Zoroark can stand on two legs as well as all fours, and that's what Gnoles do in Final Fantasy XI. Plus they both look similar.
IMO, No.
Gen IV was released for us in 2007, we'll be receiving Gen V in 2011. That's 4 years apart average.

It's not toos soon so long as they launch it on a new handheld. I've never played a pokemon game before, but I'll buy this one if it comes out for next-generation hardware. I probably won't buy it if it's just for DS though...
