Yea it's insane that it's still full (or nearly full) price.

Oh well, I'll continue renting and I just recently restarted Gamefly. I only need to spend a short amount of time with the Call of Duty multiplayer before I tire of it.

Console price cuts aren't going to grow the industry at this point. There is certainly a value threshold, as the PS3 Slim proved, but below that line price-cuts really don't make as much of a difference anymore (as the $100 GameCube can attest). Software is needed, and that onus is on publishers like you. Make a system seller if you want more systems out there, don't just wait around and let the manufacturers do all the heavy lifting.
