I aimed my hammers well and could run through levels quickly and just need to duck if I got surrounded by fireballs :)

I found the Tanooki suit to be overrated. You'd hardly find an enemy to walk through fast enough for the duration of the statue mode. Still felt great getting having though...Mario looked kinda....yuh know....cute.

I think it was more useful for avoiding projectiles or bars of fire, not enemies walking your way.

i always thought the tanooki suit was cool (and I liked the name) but I would prob have to say the Hammers bros. suit

too bad that you get either one only a few times throughout the whole game

Kuribo's shoe edges out the Hammer suit for my favorite. Both were seriously kickass items, but the sheer rarity of the shoe makes me lean toward it...

Come on Hammer Bros., you can do it!
